Caspian Energy Club UK was established in February 2024.

The Chairman of the Board of Caspian Energy Club UK is Rashad Shakarov. 

Rashad Shakarov was born in 1979.

He graduated from Azerbaijan State Marine Academy in 1998. 

He studied at “Chartered Shipbrokers” Institute in London in 2013-2018. At present, he is an honorary member of the same institute.

He graduated from the World Maritime University, a postgraduate degree in High Maritime Management in 2021.

At present, he continues his education at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He started his business activity with the positions of 3rd and 2nd officer on dry cargo ships, tankers and ferries in Caspian Shipping Company in 1998.

He continued his career at Golden Ocean Maritime Co. Ltd. situated in Istanbul in 2004 and then as a head of the passport department at Azerbaijan State Maritime Administration. 

Rashad Shakarov worked in the companies such as Caspian Mainport, Noble Denton, BP, DNG GL, Noble Denton Associates, Hyundai Engineering and Construction in Kazakhstan, AGT region, Abu Dhabi within the period 2007 to 2017.

He worked on the position of a director in Azerbaijan Marine and Engineering Consultants LTD company in 2017-2018.

He worked on the position of a superintendent on receiving the ships from England and international shipping on Future growth project (FGP) of Blue Water Shipping in Kazakhstan in 2018.

He worked on the position of a Deputy Director of the branch of Caspian Marine Services B.V. in Azerbaijan within the period 2018 to 2019.

He worked on the position of a head of the projects management department of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC within the period 2019 to 2021.

He has been continuing his activity as the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Azerbaijan Maritime Engineering and Construction LLC since 2021.

Caspian Energy Club UK representative office has represented Azerbaijan in many international events, participated in bilateral meetings, organized a number of forums and B2B, B2G and M2M meetings since its establishment, which helps to expand the horizons in the field of interaction between business and government, as well private sectors of both countries.

Our mission and purpose:

Main purpose of the establishment of Caspian Energy Club UK is primarily to attract representatives of private and public sectors in this country to regularly inform about the investment potential, favourable economic conditions, sustainable development, reforms implemented, innovations related to the implementation of big projects of Azerbaijan and other countries where we operate, as well arouse the interest and provide the involvement in these processes.

Our mission is to maintain continuous dialogue between entrepreneurs of the countries where we operate, as well to contribute to the development of B2G, B2B and B2C dialogue of these countries.
