From 2004 on, Sabina A. Aliyeva worked in foreign and local companies, including oil-gas and mining enterprises, as well as shipping companies. Noteworthy among companies that Sabina Aliyeva worked for are AOQC Moody International, AMEC Services Ltd, AIMROC Ltd and Caspian Marine Services Ltd. Since 2022, she has been the founder and director of Global Human Resource Solutions Ltd.

At the same time, she also offers project management services to different companies. In 2018, Sabina Aliyeva successfully completed the EMBA program in the British Sheffield University with a major in Public Administration. At present, she studies maritime business management at North-Kent College and Lloyd's Maritime Academy in Great Britain. 

Since 2017, she been the Chairperson of the Education and Staff Committee at Caspian Energy Club, and since March 2024 she has become a member of the Club’s management board
