Asad Nasrullayev was born on August 10, 1965 in Baku.

In 1982, after completing his secondary education, he was enrolled in the first year of the Mechanic-Mathematical Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University named after S. M. Kirov, which later became the Baku State University named after M. E. Rasulzade.

He served in the Soviet Armed Forces from 1984 to 1986. Following his military service, he resumed his studies starting from the third year at the university.

In 1987, he furthered his studies at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov. In 1990, he completed his studies at this university with honors.

In 1992, he was admitted to the postgraduate program at Moscow State University, and in 1996, he defended his PhD thesis at the MSU Scientific Council, earning the title of Candidate of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics. That same year, he gave a speech at the International Scientific Conference named after I. G. Petrovsky in Moscow.

In 1996-1997, he worked as a lecturer at the Differential Equations Department of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of the Baku State University.

In 1997, he founded a company titled Debet, and in 2001 – Debet Safety LLC, where he still holds the position of the director.
