First Deputy CEO and CFO

Rasim P. Mahmudov  
Born on November 1, 1976
Education: He received a bachelor’s degree in production management at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (1993-1997) and took master’s degree (with distinction) in management at Baku Business University (2006-2008).      
From 1991 to 1997, he worked as a reporter for the “Molodej Azerbaydjana” and “Ejednevniye Novosti” newspapers, and for the news agencies “Xəbər Servis” and ANS Press.
In parallel, he did marketing and sociological researches at the company ARG and engaged in the United Nations’ different projects implemented in Azerbaijan.  
In 1997-1998, he served in the army.
Since 1999, he has been working for Caspian Energy International Media Group.
From 2000 on, he held the position of the Foreign Affairs Manager, actively participated in conferences, forums and exhibitions, representing Caspian Energy Club and Caspian Energy International Media Group, and delivered reports at a number of conferences.
Rasim Mahmudov was directly involved in organization of the Club’s abroad events, brought in  foreign companies to cooperate with the Club, and held negotiations with overseas organizations planning to carry activities in Azerbaijan. On behalf of the Club he held talks with organizations conducting exhibitions and conferences to arrange participation of Azerbaijani companies in those events and conferences.
At present, he is the First Deputy CEO and CFO of Caspian Energy Club.
