IODICO plant was built in 1960s in the Neftchala region of Azerbaijan Republic in close proximity to the Khilli fields containing iodine brines. The total area of ​​the fields is 12.000 hectares. The company employs more than 250 employees. The final product is reactive iodine with a minimum content of the main substance 99.70% is exported mainly to China, India, EU, CIS and others. In addition, since 2024 the company produces iodine 5%solution. The company ranks fourth in the world in terms of iodine reserves after Japan, Chile and the USA.
