Nadir Babazade

Nadir Babazade was born on February 15, 1988. After completing his secondary education at Pritchett High School in Colorado, USA, he pursued his undergraduate studies in finance at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) within the Special Talents Group from 2006 to 2010.
In 2023–2024, he continued his education in the Global Executive MBA (GXMBA) program at the prestigious IE Business School in Spain. He began his professional career at Azercell Telecom LLC, where he demonstrated outstanding performance in sales and made a significant contribution to the company’s strategic development and market share growth. He later served as a department head for Treasury at Unibank CB OJSC, where he demonstrated strong capabilities in financial market management and risk management.
In subsequent years, he held a senior position at Unicapital Investment Company OJSC, playing a key role in achieving the company’s strategic objectives. Currently, he serves as executive director at ABB-Invest Investment Company CJSC, one of the leading investment companies in the country. In addition, he is a member of the board of directors of the Azerbaijan Capital Market Participants Association (AKBA) and a member of the supervisory board of the National Depository Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MDC).
