Since 1991, Telman E. Aliyev initiated creation, as well as headed and worked as a consultant to a wide range of electronic and print media, Internet portals, marketing and consulting companies in the countries of the Caspian, Black Sea and Baltic regions. Since 1998, he was a marketing, brand-management, PR and government relations consultant to oil-gas companies and financial industrial groups in Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Türkiye and the EU countries.  Since May 28, 1999, he has been the President of Caspian Energy International Media Group. 

On June 4, 2002 – took up the position as the First Deputy Chairman and CEO, and since March 3, 2020, has been the Chairman of Caspian Energy Club and Group CEO.
