RASHAD HUSEYNLI “SOCAR-Uniper”

Rashad Huseynli was born on September 30, 1978 in Baku.
He received his first higher education at the Azerbaijan State University of Languages, graduating with honors in German Studies in 1999 and completing his Master's in 2001. During his studies, he was a two-time winner of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship programs and went on to earn a second higher education degree in Public Administration from Ruhr University Bochum, Germany.
He began his professional career in 1999 as an assistant translator at the German company Siemens. He then worked as an expert on a legal reform project with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and rose to the position of a project manager (2000-2005). His next role was with the German company Tauber, specializing in underground construction (2005-2010), where he held the position of a project manager. Following this, he worked as the coordinator for Azerbaijan at the Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ) of the Federal Ministry of Justice of Germany (2010-2014).
Since 2014, Rashad Huseynli has been the head of the Azerbaijan office of the German company Uniper, and since 2016, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the joint venture SOCAR-Uniper LLC.
