Recently, information has been widely circulating in various media outlets and on social networks alleging that, as part of Caspian Energy Holding’s restructuring and policy of divesting non-core assets, a 100% stake in the Caspian Energy journal and in other media resources operating under the same brand has been put up for sale.
“We officially state that we are currently seeking to expand and strengthen our portfolio of media resources, and in this regard, we are conducting negotiations to acquire media outlets beyond Azerbaijan. We have also begun negotiations with the editorial offices of Forbes published in neighboring countries regarding the acquisition of an equity stake. In addition, we plan to resume negotiations with the rights holder concerning the launch of the Forbes Azerbaijan project”, said Caspian Energy Club Chairman and Group CEO Telman Aliyev.
As for the Caspian Energy journal and the media projects operating under the Caspian Energy brand, the process of establishing a new entity called Caspian Energy International Media Group has now begun, in which Caspian Energy Holding plans to retain a 51% stake. The remaining 49% has been put up for sale to support structural and digital transformation.
The main objective of these initiatives is to comprehensively cover the activities of Azerbaijani companies that are actively expanding into international markets, as well as to optimize and develop the holding’s media assets.
Additional information on the progress of the negotiations and the outcomes achieved will be shared with the public in a phased manner.
Telman Aliyev noted that all questions regarding the activities of Caspian Energy Holding can be addressed directly to the Club’s management. We are open to engagement both on social media and through other official channels, in order to respond to your inquiries as promptly as possible.
