On September 26, 2024, The Ritz-Carlton hotel will host the IV Water Innovation Forum organized by Aqualink LLC. Caspian Energy Club is the major networking partner of the Forum. This was reported by the forum’s organizational committee.
The IV Water Innovation Forum to be held under the ‘Water for Future slogan’ will mainly focus on exchanging experience in water and environmental topics regarding not only our country but also the Caspian Sea states and the whole region, as well as on manifesting international scientific innovations, extending cooperation between local entrepreneurs and public/foreign partners, and introducing ‘green’ solutions in sustainable management of water resources.
Participating as honorable guests at the IV Water Innovation Forum will be high-ranking representatives of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, Azerbaijan Republic Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and other relevant government agencies, as well as executives and specialists of local and foreign companies operating in this sector.
The first panel will focus on the discussion of the topic ‘Applying of international expertise in management of water resources - the Dutch experience’. Participating in the panel will be representatives of dynamic, developing and advanced companies and organizations of the Netherlands. Among them are Royal Haskoning DHV, IHE Delft institute for water education, Spaans Babcock BV, Nijhuis Saur Industries and other companies’ representatives who will make reports on such pressing topics as advanced water treatement technologies, effective and efficient water management solutions, including introduction of cutting edge technologies and sustainable management practices in water management. Farkhad Mukhtarov, Senior Lecturer in Management and Public Policy at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and lead researcher at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of National University of Singapore, will moderate the first panel.
The IV Water Innovation Forum will be held with the participation of the government agencies, local and foreign companies, representatives and specialists of relevant fields, as well as under the major sponsorship of Aqualink LLC, Nijhuis Saur Industries, Smith JSC, Chemya and Referans Clinical Laboratory Center.
