Elvin M. Aslanov has more than 20 years of professional experience in the field of information technology. He is 39 years old and was born in Baku. He obtained his higher education at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University with a bachelor’s degree in the Automation of Production Processes and, later, in order to expand his knowledge in management and engineering, completed an engineering-oriented MBA program at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. 

During his professional career, he has held the positions of head of IT departments in a number of large public and private companies, gaining extensive practical experience in the establishment, management, and transformation of critical information systems. He is currently the founder and director of STDC LLC, which is considered one of the largest data centers in the region in terms of power and infrastructure capabilities. Under his leadership, the key development priorities have been defined as data center infrastructure, high availability, energy efficiency, cloud solutions, and high-performance computing (HPC). He is married and has three children.
