Caspian Energy Club Czechia keeps working actively
Caspian Energy Club Czechia keeps working actively. This was said by Zaur Gadirov, Chairman of the Board of Caspian Energy Club Czechia.
In the first half of 2024, Caspian Energy Club Czechia and the company Joint Bridges coorganized the 18th ‘International Caspian Investment Forum Prague — 2024’ held with the participation of 18 speakers. The forum attended by many government officials has become one
of the largest events hosted by Caspian Energy Club Czechia in 2024. The event had the official support of the embassies of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Republic of Türkiye in Czechia. Financial Chain Corporation was the platinum sponsor of the event. Other sponsors were Energazer, Philips and Evintel.
According to Zaur Gadirov, Caspian Energy Club Czechia plans to be more active in the second half of the year. “Entrepreneurs of the two countries enjoyed effective communication at the CEO Breakfast Prague event held in February of this year. Undeniable is the role of all events that have been held so far in establishment of valuable partnerships between the two countries’ companies. New opportunities and prospects of the business climate, green energy, energy security of Europe, technological progress and digitalization, including the investment potential, attraction of investments and diversification of trade with different countries were the major topics of the events held by us”, Zaur Gadirov said. “As is known, we held a number of events and organized meetings in the first half of the year. Issues concerning artificial intelligence, financial technologies, tourism development, green
energy, investments and business environment were thoroughly discussed at those meetings. Such meetings allow Caspian Energy Club member companies to promote their business, establish contacts and discuss proposals. Besides, lots of projects aimed at expansion of relations between the private sectors of the two countries are implemented jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Czechia and there is also work underway on planning other projects. In this connection, I consider Caspian Energy Club Czechia the main networking platform making it possible for the Czech and Azerbaijan companies to provide services and establish ties”, Zaur Gadirov said.
“We plan to actively promote topics on human resources, artificial intelligence, tourism and education in the second half of the year”, Zaur Gadirov added.
Speaking about individual entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan and their attraction to the Czech market, Zaur Gadirov emphasized advantages of the opportunity that the Azerbaijani businessmen have for supplying their products to this country. Czechia as one of the Central European countries makes it possible to access other European markets. The absence of customs barriers and the existence of the single market of goods, services and capital play an important role.
“Noteworthy is the high demand in Czechia for agricultural products, dried fruits and nutsdelivered from Azerbaijan. The number of Czech companies tapping into the Azerbaijan’s market has significantly grown over the last two years. Business meetings take place pretty frequently. It tells about the presence of the favorable investment climate in Azerbaijan wherecompanies from different sectors can find partners and expand their international networks. I want to note that Czechia is famous for its highly-developed IT and machine building sectors, which makes it possible to cooperate with Azerbaijan in these areas. Opportunities created inregions meet the interests of companies and this, in turn, is favorable trend for regional
development”, Zaur Gadirov concluded.
